Information
Collection
As part of
our employment services, job candidates and client companies may
give us contact information (such as e-mail addresses, mailing
addresses and phone numbers). This information may be submitted
in a number of ways, including via phone, e-mail or in documents,
such as resumes. MDS will respect the confidentiality of the information
that is forwarded; however users should be aware that there are
always inherent risks in transmitting information across the Internet.
A candidate’s
or client’s contact information is used to get in touch
with them when necessary, and is used only for delivering MDS’
services. These services may include updates via e-mail or regular
postal mail. The site of Minneapolis Drafting Services does not
use cookies.
How
MDS Protects Your Information
Job candidates
may submit a resume electronically. A candidate’s resume,
contact information and e-mail will not be released unless the
candidate has authorized an MDS employee to actively represent
them. MDS strives at all times to protect the privacy of your
personal information. Your personal information may be stored
in hard copy and/or electronically and is protected against unauthorized
access. Once released to a client company, MDS is not responsible
for the client’s retention, use or privacy of a candidate’s
resume and contact information.
MDS believes
that career and company development are ongoing processes. We
retain indefinitely all the information we gather from candidates
and client companies, including e-mails and resumes, for our internal
administrative purposes to help serve you better.
Web
Posting
As part of
MDS’ processes, we post selected portions of open positions
and candidate’s profiles on this Web site. Information will
not be posted without permission. If a candidate or client company
later wishes to have their information removed from the MDS web
site, they should contact tim@mdsstaffing.com.
Confidentiality
MDS realizes
how important it is to handle all work on a confidential basis.
A person considering a job change can be assured that we work
discreetly. When we know of a candidate’s interest in considering
a new position, we will contact that candidate if an appropriate
match is available. We will describe the open position to the
candidate, and if they are interested in considering the role,
we will discuss their background with the client company. We do
not present a candidate to a client company unless we have discussed
the position with the candidate.
MDS will disclose
information we maintain when required to by law, for example in
response to a court order or a subpoena or other legal obligation.
